Skylotec Milan 2.0 Emergency Descender

The Skylotec Milan 2.0 Power Emergency Descender has been around for more than 10 years and is a controlled rate descent device used for evacuation or rescue at height. It uses a centrifugally controlled brake which helps the device maintain a constant speed during the complete descent.

Having connectors on either end of the rope enables the first evacuees to get to the ground and the next evacuees can attach and descend without resetting the device. The Milan Power has an adapter for a battery drill to assist in raising a casualty and can be raised even a short distance to free a person from their lanyard for example.

Simply attach the karabiner at the rope end to the harness attachment & Step off the structure. The device will descend at 0.9m per second. The MILAN 2.0 is the strongest, most reliable device of its kind on the market. The housing is constructed of milled aircraft-grade aluminium which makes the MILAN 2.0 the most robust evacuation device in the world. The brake shaft is mounted on ball bearings on both sides.
